The quickest cooking member of the lentil family with no pre-soaking needed.
Split red lentils disintegrate into a thick, dry, yellowish purée when cooked and are incredibly versatile. Use them for soups, spicy Indian dhals, in lentil loaves, plant-based pates or patties.
Ingredients: Red split lentils.

Cooking instructions: No need to soak, rinse before cooking. Cover with water, bring to the boil and cook for 10 mins., or pressure cook for 5 mins.
