Our organic long grown brown rice from Essentials retains the outer layers of the grain and whilst this gives it a slightly longer cooking time it has added nutrition and fibre compared to white rice. Long grain brown rice keeps it shape well and is perfect for a whole range of dishes including curried rice salads and vegetable fried rice.
Cooking Instructions: Rinse in cold water. Add 1 part rice to 3 parts water. Bring to the boil then simmer for approximately 40 minutes until the water is absorbed.
