Buckwheat grains add nuttiness to salads and a chewy texture to veggie burgers or stews. It’s also a source of protein, magnesium, rich in heart-healthy nutrients as well as antioxidants and a source of insoluble fibre and resistant starch, which good for gut health.
Cooking Instructions: Simmered until tender. Wash the buckwheat groats well before use, or soak and then bake to add crunch to granolas and salads. When soaked and blended before simmering, buckwheat breaks down into a delicious porridge.
